Award granted to a guild member or officer who goes above and beyond to promote our guild in the community and in bringing new QUALITY blood to the fold

Award given to a guild member or officer who goes above and beyond in coordinating and executing planned guild events

Award given to guild members who have contributed above and beyond and helped the newcomers learn the ropes of the guild and the games we play

I hope the Spring/Summer of 2010 is one we will soon forget. While the guild had some success in World of Warcraft by and large the Knights found themselves spread across multiple games most of them lasting only a few weeks at a time as it just seemed that the gaming gods refused to give us something to play.

Many of our guild friends have been absent in past months as there just hasn't been anything to play. Some Knights however stayed true and did whatever they could to keep in touch by the forums or in whatever game managed to hold our attention in a given week.

This award is for those loyal Knights who toughed out the Spring and Summer of 2010. There is a lot of good stuff on the horizon (Final Fantasy XIV and Star Wars: The Old Republic) but these members were around for one of the bleakest periods in MMO gamer memory!

This month, we are going to honor Kaburan, the man, the myth, the lion lover. Who here hasn’t heard the ringing mantra “Defense wins Pheonix Gate period” from Kaburan, and followed this to victory? Who hasn’t been rallied together, joining Kaburan’s daring group of compatriots to overtake the vile destruction opposition? Enemies, scenarios, keeps … all have been conquered, and with the help of Kaburan. At the Battle of Fangbreaka Swamp, Kaburan was there to support the tanks in blocking the door. Even though he was squishy, and a silly elf, he had the heart of dwarf.

Our glorious order is founded on community, and Kaburan has always supported the community. He helps keep our chat in order and helps our members with any questions they have.

Is he a maverick? Is he for change? Would he vote for the bailout? Who knows, but he sure is for slaughtering destruction.

How much more could be said about Kaburan? Tomes. However, everyone that has played with him this month knows he deserves this award.

The WAR Vet award is given to members who joined us in the first few months of the game.

On February 15th the forces of Destruction pushed the battlefront to the front gates of our beloved capital city, Altdorf.

The recipients of this award are the brave defenders who heeded the call of duty and valiantly defended our capital city.
This time we were successful in dispelling the forces of Destruction, we need be ever vigilant to ensure our walls stand.

An award given to the original Aureus Knights in Vanguard. This group of people helped form AKS's first large presence in an MMO and we became known as a top class guild; this group has a lot to be proud of.

One of the things that makes or breaks our little family is that we stay together and we stay active. One way we do that in between games is playing FPS games. Good quick fun, its always a good time! This award is for those who stick it out between MMOs by playing FPS games with Clan [AKS]
